Class 7–8 · Trailer · Mobile-led
The trucks don't stop. Neither do we.
Skilled service, where the equipment sits.
We are building the national leader in mobile heavy‑duty fleet service — with the best independent operators in the country. Your name stays on the truck. Your people stay yours. You get the scale of a national company behind you.
The opening
We are building the national leader. The best operators in the country will lead it.
We are searching for the independent operators who want to help build it, run it, and be the face of it in their own markets.
No incumbent. No national brand. No standard anyone in this trade gets measured against. Fieldwright is going to be that standard — and the owners who build it with us will be the ones running it, known for it, and owning a piece of it.
Their names stay on the trucks. Their people stay theirs. What changes is the size of what they are building and how far it reaches.
The work is mandated. The demand is not cyclical. The only thing missing was somebody willing to build the company this trade deserves.
We are building it with owners who want the same things we do — a culture worth working in, an ambition to be the best platform in the United States, and the conviction that this trade should set the standard for fleet maintenance rather than react to a market changing around it.

How we are building it
Three commitments that decide what this becomes
Anyone with capital can buy service businesses. Each of these is a choice already made.
We partner. We do not collect.
Your name, your people, your reputation — and real ownership in what gets built. Integration happens beneath the sign, not on it.
We will be the employer of choice
Whoever solves technician recruiting in this industry grows. Whoever does not, sells. Here it is a platform capability, not an HR program.
Fixed right, on the customer's schedule
Fleets rarely leave over price. They leave over a truck that came back twice. We will not trade quality of work for speed of growth.
The build
Anchor. Expand. Density.
One elite regional anchor at a time — then we grow it across its market until the map connects.
01 · Anchor
The best operator in a region
We partner with them. Their name becomes the brand the rest of the market folds into, because it is the one fleets already trust.
02 · Tuck-in
Density around them
We add density in their market — technicians, customers and coverage brought in behind a brand that already works.
03 · De novo
New ground
New locations and new service units where the demand is there and the coverage is not. Cheaper than partnering for it, when the bench exists.
04 · Organic
One more technician
Growth here is one more tech in one more truck — which means it depends entirely on being the place skilled people want to work. Pay and benefits at platform scale, a career ladder with real titles, and a culture built by people who came up through the bays.
Region by region until the coverage is national. This platform gets built through people, not purchases.

What Fieldwright is
One organization, built market by market
Independent companies keep their names and keep running their markets. What sits underneath them is shared, and it is built to a standard no single market can reach alone.
Fieldwright is a national mobile service organization assembled out of the best independent operators in the country. Each one keeps the name on its trucks and the authority over its own market. Underneath, they share capital, recruiting, purchasing, systems and national accounts — the infrastructure that decides whether a service business can grow past its own capacity.
Everything here is run by operators. The commitments on this site are not aspirations we hope to fund later; they are the terms we are building the organization around, and the standard we will be measured against in every market we enter.
What that means for a partner
You keep a meaningful stake in the business you built, and the option to own a piece of the platform it joins. You keep running your market. Your brand grows across its region, the platform grows across the country, and you own part of each.
Where to start
Three conversations we are having right now
Owners
You built something worth carrying further
What you keep, what we bring, what we ask, and what a partnership actually looks like.
Partner with usTechnicians
A real career, not just a job
What we commit to on pay, tools, training, safety and advancement — published before we start hiring.
Careers at FieldwrightFleets
Uptime, on your yard
Contracted PM, DOT compliance, breakdown response, one point of accountability.
What we doWe only partner with the best
Every partnership starts with one conversation.
We called you because of what you have built. Whenever you decide — this year or in five — you should already know who we are, how we work, and exactly what happens to the business you built.
Every inquiry comes straight to us
For owners
The first question we ask is what you are trying to accomplish.
Not what we want out of it. Until we know what you are actually after — for the business, for your family, for your people — we cannot build the right deal. So that is where we start, whether we called you or you found us.
The partnership
Three sides of the same deal
A pitch that never states what we want is not credible. All three sides are here.
Owners have heard "nothing will change" before. Ours is more honest: the name and the people stay, the back office and the systems change, and you will know exactly how that feels before you sign.
- Your name
- Retained, carrying "A Fieldwright Company" beneath it.
- Your people
- We are partnering with the team as much as the business, and we invest in them.
- Your autonomy
- You run your market. You keep the calls that matter locally — hiring, customers, how the work gets done. We do not send someone to sit over you.
- Your ownership
- A meaningful stake in the joint venture that holds your business — so what you grow locally, you own a piece of directly.
- Your upside in the platform
- The option to hold equity in Fieldwright itself, which participates in every brand we add and every market we enter.
- Opportunity for your people
- Profits interests for your general manager and key leaders, and career paths across a company far larger than one market.
- Your standards
- A way of working that customers value is an asset to spread across the platform — not a habit to standardize away.
Fieldwright puts everything a single market cannot buy on its own behind your brand — with one aim: building this platform into the national leader, and lifting every partner in it on the way there.
Capital
Funded growth
Trucks, technicians, facilities and add-on partnerships in your region — funded by the platform, not by your balance sheet.
People
Recruiting and development
A recruiting engine, funded training, and a career ladder that makes this the place skilled people want to work.
Technology
Systems and visibility
One operating stack across the platform, and real numbers on your margins and utilization every month.
Corporate
The back office, handled
Accounting, HR, payroll, benefits, insurance, tax and legal — off your desk and run properly.
Reach
Purchasing and national accounts
Supplier terms and fleet customers no single market can reach alone, routed to the partners who can serve them.
Growth
An M&A engine and a network
Add-on partnerships in your region found, evaluated and brought in without pulling you off your own operation — plus an industry network opened to every partner.
Every brand under this banner gets the full weight of the platform behind it. That is the whole point of building one.
A partnership described only in terms of what you receive is not a partnership. Five things we ask of an anchor partner.
- Common plumbing
- One operating system, one set of financial standards, shared pricing and back office. The brand stays local.
- Time
- A defined commitment to stay and build, and help us win the next partner in your region.
- Candour
- Openness with information, including what is not going well. We would rather find it in diligence — and we will not punish honesty about it.
- Alignment on people
- How technicians are treated, paid and developed is not negotiable. It is the whole basis of the platform.
What owners actually want
Five goals, and what a platform does about each
The same five come up every time. Fieldwright is built to serve all five at once — which is exactly what an owner cannot do alone.
| What you want | How Fieldwright helps |
|---|---|
| Growth you cannot fund or staff alone | Capital for trucks, technicians and facilities without personal guarantees. A recruiting engine aimed at the constraint every owner names first. National purchasing and pricing discipline that turns revenue growth into margin. |
| Generational wealth | Real liquidity today, and a retained stake in what the platform becomes. Most owners we speak with care more about the second bite than the first. |
| Opportunity for your key people | Technician progression, branch and regional leadership, participation in incentive plans — paths a single-market business cannot offer, however good it is. |
| Legacy and reputation | Your name stays on the truck. The relationships stay with the people who built them. You are judged in your own community, and we protect that. |
| Relief from the parts you never wanted | Back office, accounting, HR, compliance, IT, insurance, collections. You get your week back to do what you are actually good at. |
The part nobody explains
What scale is worth
A business is valued on what it earns — and on how large, how durable and how well-run it is. Hover any step.
Relative value per dollar of earnings →
$1M$1–3M$3–5M$5–10M$10–20M$20M+
← Annual earnings (EBITDA)
$20M+
Scaled national platform. This is where Fieldwright is going, and where rolled equity finally gets paid.
Illustrative shape only. Not a forecast, not an offer, and not a valuation of any business. We will walk through the specific ranges with you directly.
Why it matters to you
However well you run one market, the market prices a single-market independent as a single-market independent. You cannot reach the top of that curve alone — what is rewarded there is scale, reach, data and depth, not the quality of the work.
Rolled equity rides the whole curve
Roll meaningful equity and you do not just exit at the multiple your business earns today. You participate in the multiple the platform earns tomorrow — while keeping your name, your people and your legacy.
How you participate
One transaction, two engines
Your business goes into a joint venture built around it. You keep a meaningful stake in that JV — and the proceeds you roll can convert into a stake in Fieldwright itself.
Engine one
Equity in your own brand
A direct stake in the joint venture that holds your business. Every technician you add, every customer you win, every town you expand into — you own a piece of that outcome directly, and you are the one driving it.
Engine two
Equity in the platform
Anchor partners can also invest alongside us in Fieldwright itself, which participates in every brand we add and every market we enter. An anchor in one region shares in the growth of an anchor in another.
Your people
Your key leaders share too
Profits interests at the JV level for your general manager and the people who actually drive the business — plus career paths across a company far larger than one market can offer.
Your map
Room to expand
Capital and an M&A team behind your brand so it reaches markets you could not have funded alone. The legacy you built does not stop at the edge of the territory you could afford.
Growth in your market and growth across the platform, compounding at the same time. That is the generational outcome — and most owners in this industry have never had it explained to them.
Indicative structure only, subject to diligence, financing and definitive documentation. Nothing here is an offer.
Year one
What changes — and when you decide it
Everyone in our position promises nothing will change. That is not true of anyone, including us. So here is what actually changes, in the order it usually makes sense.
How it is sequenced
In unison, and over time. Nothing moves because a calendar says so. You are in the room for the timing and the order, because breaking something that already works is the most expensive mistake available to either of us.
Your people hear it from you
We are on site in week one, standing next to you rather than in front of you. You are visibly part of the platform, not replaced by it — and your technicians hear it directly rather than through rumor.
We measure before we change
Utilization, first-time fix, parts availability, revenue per technician, PM attachment. If we cannot show you the improvement later, we did not earn it.
Accounting and reporting
One chart of accounts and a monthly close on a fixed calendar. For most owners this is the first time they see their real numbers on time.
Insurance, tax and legal
Moved onto platform programs and platform counsel. Better coverage, better terms, and several standing problems off your desk permanently.
Technology, unified
One shop-management, telematics and reporting stack across the platform — sequenced with you rather than dropped on you, and never before the business is ready for it.
Recruiting and development
A recruiting function working your market, a funded training path, and a career ladder your people can actually see themselves on.
Your name is still on the truck
All of it happened beneath the sign. Same people, same brand, same customers — running on better plumbing than it had the year before.
Straight answers
The questions owners ask us privately
No reason you should have to ask them.
What happens to my employees?
Field roles do not change, and benefits usually improve because they are priced at platform scale. Back-office roles are the ones that change — that is the work the platform absorbs. We will tell you before you sign exactly which roles those are and what we propose for each person. Anyone who says nothing changes has not thought about it.
Will you put debt on my business?
Yes. Acquisition finance is part of every transaction of this kind, and anyone implying otherwise is not describing how this works. What matters is how much and against what. We size debt against contracted recurring revenue, not a best case, and we walk you through the capital structure before you sign.
Who do you eventually sell to, and what happens to my name then?
Likely buyers are larger strategics, distributors or another institutional investor. We cannot guarantee what a future owner does with a local brand years from now, and anyone who guarantees that is promising something they do not control. What we can do is build the platform so the local brands are demonstrably worth keeping — and make sure you own enough of the outcome to be on the same side of that decision as we are.
Can I talk to an owner who has already done this?
Yes. Ask, and we will connect you with owners who have been through it — partners inside Fieldwright as the platform comes together, and owners from prior partnerships in other service industries. Talk to them without us on the call, before you sign anything.
What if my books are not clean?
Most are not, and none of it surprises us. Owner compensation, related-party items, personal expenses run through the business, a shoebox of paper — we have worked with every kind of financial statement this industry produces. We know how to read them, and we will get yours right alongside you.
What about my building?
We can take it on at market terms, or lease it from you — your choice. Plenty of owners would rather keep the real estate and the income, and that is a perfectly good outcome for both of us.
What if I want out in two years, not five?
Then we design for that. What we need is a defined commitment and a clean handover to the next leadership team. If you are near retirement, the honest conversation is about how long a proper transition takes — and we will have it openly.
Do I end up with a boss?
You run your market. The structure is a joint venture built around your business, you keep a meaningful stake in it, and you keep operating authority over it — because you are the one incentivized to grow it. The platform is a resource to you, not a layer above you. What changes is the back office and the systems, not who decides how the work gets done in your market.
Can you really recruit technicians in my market?
Recruiting is the constraint in this industry, so we treat it as a platform capability rather than something every location solves alone — a dedicated recruiting function, funded apprenticeship and training, relationships with the technical schools in your region, a referral program paid to your own people, and a career ladder with real titles. We build it in your market with you rather than handing you a policy.
How a process runs
Nothing goes on paper until both sides know the answer
Most partnerships this team has closed began about two years before they were signed.
Indicative. Subject to diligence, financing and definitive documentation. Nothing here is an offer.
Meet, and make introductions
A call with us. No documents, no NDA, no obligation.
A mutual NDA
Signed both ways before a single number changes hands. Your people hear nothing until you decide otherwise.
Exchange information
Three years of financials and a real look at the business. We come back inside two to three weeks with a range and a structure.
More conversations
Where you want the business to go, what your people need, what each of us wants out of it. Value is discussed in person.
Letter of intent
Structure, price and your role — written only once both sides already know the answer.
Confirmatory diligence
Quality of earnings, insurance, tax and legal. Sixty to ninety days, scheduled around your operations.
Close, and build
Rollover documented, the hundred-day plan agreed before signing, leadership in place on day one.

For fleets
Uptime, on your yard, on your calendar.
A truck in someone else's bay is not earning. Mobile service happens where the equipment already sits — overnight, between routes, in the window you were not using anyway.
Where we are building
Fieldwright is assembling its first regional partner companies
This is the service model every Fieldwright company will run to. Local service is delivered by local companies that keep their own names. If you want coverage as we build, or want to be first in line in your market, tell us where your equipment sits.
Class 8 tractor · 53′ van · roughly ten scheduled service events per unit, per year
The service model
Four things, done properly
Scheduled
Preventive maintenance & DOT inspection
Tiered A-, B- and C-service on a contracted calendar, plus the federal annual — with the records your compliance function actually needs at audit, not a stack of invoices.
Unscheduled
Breakdown & emergency response
The unit that will not start at 4 a.m. The provider who performs your PM knows the unit's history and carries the parts that fail on it.
Specialty
Trailer, brake, tire, chassis and body
Brakes, steering and suspension, tires, chassis and axles, trailer structural and body, refrigeration — the everyday work that decides whether a fleet runs.
Program
Fleet management services
PM scheduling, uptime and compliance reporting, consolidated billing, round-the-clock dispatch, telematics integration. One point of accountability.
Who we serve
Fleets that cannot afford a truck to sit
Truckload & regional carriers
Class 7–8 tractors and trailers on PM cadence, with breakdown coverage on the lanes you run.
Private fleets
Grocery, e-commerce, distribution and food service — where the fleet serves the business rather than being it.
Utilities & municipal
Service bodies, bucket trucks, refuse and public works, with the inspection records the agency has to produce.
Construction & aggregate
Mixed fleets on job sites where a tow costs more than the repair.
Agriculture & energy
Equipment on a season or a schedule that cannot wait for a bay to open.
Small fleets
Ninety-six percent of fleets run fewer than ten trucks — the least well served in this industry.
For fleets
Tell us where your equipment sits.
We will tell you exactly where we are in your market and what we can commit to as we build. A straight answer either way, and a date you can hold us to.
Every inquiry comes straight to us
For technicians
We are building the best place in this country to be a heavy‑duty technician.
Not because we say so. Because of what we are willing to write down publicly and be held to.
The state of the trade
242,000
Technicians needed every year
102,000
Graduate into it
TechForce Foundation, Technician Supply, Demand & Opportunity Report (2026).
The industry needs you more than it has admitted
That gap is the defining fact of this trade for the next decade. A skilled diesel technician has more leverage than at any point in the history of the job.
Most of the industry answered it by raising the sign-on bonus and changing nothing else. What actually keeps good people is a shop run properly: parts on the truck, work dispatched sensibly, a leader who has turned a wrench, and a path that goes somewhere.
Our commitments
Written down so you can hold us to them
Published before we start hiring rather than after.
Everyone goes home
Safety is not a poster. No schedule, customer or month-end is a reason to do the job unsafely.
A truck that is actually stocked
The biggest waste of a mobile tech's day is a part that is not on the truck. Parts availability is a platform metric, not your problem.
Paid for the work
Pay benchmarked market by market, benefits priced at platform scale rather than one shop's scale.
Training that is funded
Apprenticeship, certifications, and time on the calendar to actually finish them.
Promoted from within
Leadership roles go to people who came up through the bays. That is a hiring rule, not a preference.
Led by people who did the job
You should never report to somebody who has never diagnosed an intermittent fault at 2 a.m.
The path
Where this job goes
A single shop can offer you a raise. A national platform can offer you somewhere to go.
01 · Entry
Apprentice / PM technician
Scheduled PM and inspection work, paired with an experienced tech, on a funded training path from day one.
02 · Journey
Mobile fleet technician
Your own service unit, your own route, and the scope that comes with certification.
03 · Advanced
Master / lead technician
The hard diagnostics, the calls nobody else can close, and the techs coming up behind you.
04 · Leadership
Service manager · Branch · Regional
Running dispatch, a shop, a market or a region — with P&L responsibility and the incentives that go with it.
These businesses were built by technicians who did the work properly. We hire for that, and we will not trade quality of work for speed of growth.
Craft — a Fieldwright core value
If you already lead a shop
Service managers, dispatchers and shop leaders
We hire
from the bays
first.
Leadership roles across this platform go to people who did the work. That is a hiring rule, not a preference.
Building a platform market by market means we need people who can run one — service managers, dispatchers who understand route density, parts and inventory leaders, recruiters who know this trade, and supervisors technicians will actually follow.
How to submit
Send a resume, a cover letter, or an introduction
Fieldwright does not have an application portal yet, and we are not posting individual roles until our first partner companies are in place. Until then, submissions come to us directly.
Send a resume and a cover letter if you have them, or simply an introduction — where you are, what you work on, the certifications you hold, and what you are looking for. Every submission is read and kept on file, and you will hear from us when we hire in your market.
For technicians
Get on the list before we hire in your market.
Send a short note now and you will hear from us first when we hire in your market — where you are, what you work on, and what you would want from the next place you work.

About
A resource and a partnership for exceptional owners.
Capital, expertise, M&A capability, relationships and back-office strength — so our partners reach growth they could not reach alone, without giving up the values, culture or legacy they spent a career building.
Mission & vision
What we are setting out to be
To be the platform the best independent operators choose to join, and the service partner fleets rely on to keep them running.
Not the largest collection of assembled revenue — the leading one. The company that sets the standard for how this work is done, how technicians are treated, and what a fleet should expect.
Skilled service, where the equipment sits.
Core values
Written as commitments, not aspirations
Every one of them gets tested in a specific conversation with a specific owner.
Servant leadership
We work for the operators in our platform. Remove obstacles, supply resources, then get out of the way of people who know their market better than we do.
The owner is the main piece
We are additive. You should do more of what you are good at and less of what you never wanted. A resource, never a replacement.
Employee first
People development is a core competency here, not an HR program. Technicians get a path, and Fieldwright will be the employer of choice for skilled people in every market we serve.
Legacy preserved
Local names, reputations and relationships stay. Integration happens beneath the sign. What you built does not get erased because it joined something larger.
Plain dealing
We say what we will do, then do it. Clear terms, certainty of close, no re-trading. In a market where owners get several calls a month, straightforward is a real differentiator.
Craft
These businesses were built by technicians who did the work properly. We respect it, we hire for it, and we will not trade it for speed.
The mark
What it means
The hexagon is a bolt head seen from above — the one object present in every truck, trailer, generator and compressor this platform will ever service. The two chevrons are rank in a skilled trade. The amber bar beneath them is the ground line: the field.
Fieldwright — the field, and the wright: the old word for someone who builds and repairs by hand. A wheelwright, a shipwright, a millwright. The name is the job.
